(MENAFN) On Saturday, Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki landed in in Khartoum for an official two-day visit to Sudan, a statement by Sudan's Sovereign Council emphasized.
The statement added that Afwerki was received upon arrival at Khartoum airport by Chairman of the Sovereign Council Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan and several ministers.
During the visit, Afwerki is expected to hold discussions related to the bilateral relations and ways to enhance them with several Sudanese officials.
