(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: HATIL, a global furniture brand from Bangladesh, has launched two new showrooms on March 03 in India.
Opened in Kolkata, West Bengal, both the showrooms intend to cater to a wide range of customers from the vicinity, especially from Kolkata South (Garia) and Kolkata North (Sodepur).
Following this, number of HATIL's global showrooms reached up to 16th which are strategically spread across four countries. HATIL is the only Bangladeshi brand which prides in owning more than 72,000 square feet dedicated retail space beyond its border.
All these international developments came into being following the brand's franchise model.
Toufique Hasan, Deputy High Commissioner, Bangladesh Deputy High Commission, Kolkata, India, inaugurated HATIL Garia showroom as Chief Guest. Mohammed Saiful Islam, First Secretary, Commercial was also present as Special Guest.
The chief guest Toufiq said, 'HATIL is one of the most successful indigenously developed brands from Bangladesh having sole focus on furniture manufacturing and retailing. It is here to win the hearts of Indian customers.'
Special guest Saiful Islam stated, 'HATIL would be a much better choice compared to competing imports in India.'
Earlier in the morning on the same day, Saiful Islam inaugurated HATIL Sodepur showroom being present as Chief Guest.
Selim H Rahman, Chairman and Managing Director, HATIL Complex Ltd., graced the occasion with his presence and said, 'The Indian furniture market is pretty big and its growth spree creates rooms for quality products. I believe HATIL being the largest wooden furniture manufacturer in South Asia is all set to serve the unique and diverse Indian customers.'
Indranil Dey and Prabir Kumar Talukdar, franchise partners for HATIL Garia and HATIL Sodepur respectively, also expressed their deep appreciation for HATIL's top-notch furniture and their unique designs on the occasion. They too mentioned believing that HATIL furniture is apt to the taste of modern India.
Firoz Al Mamun, General Manager, Marketing, HATIL Complex Ltd., added, 'Four new showrooms are soon going to open in different parts of India and one in Kathmandu, Nepal.'
