Overseas startups granted USD64m Hyundai investments


(MENAFN) By the first half of this year, South Korean automaker giant Hyundai Motor Co. allocated USD64 million of investments in startups launched abroad specialized in car techs.

Hyundai Motor Co. explained that this comes as it looks to achieve a prominent edge in next-generation vehicle technologies.

Startups that received the investments consist of U.S-based Realtime Robotics, U.S. Aurora Innovation Inc., Israel's Audioburst, Hong Kong's Funshare, China's DeepGlint, and French Aryballe Technologies.

Leading automaker Hyundai further assured that it was determined to keep on handing over investments regarding technologies related to future vehicles.
