Free trade deal between Ukraine, Israel renewed


(MENAFN) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the country reached an agreement with Israel to renew a free trade contract regarding the services sector.

Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, hosted negotiations between President Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the extension of the agreement.

Bilateral trade between Ukraine and Israel is currently standing over USD1 billion, the president noted while hailing partnership with the country.

Zelensky also highlighted the major contribution of the free trade agreement in achieving such a figure in bilateral trade.

He further added that "we have also agreed to immediately start working to extend the agreement to the sphere of services."
