New clashes erupt between Yemeni gov't forces, Houthi rebels in Hudaydah


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, fresh clashes broke out between Yemeni government forces and Houthi rebels in coastal city of Al-Hudaydah regardless of the UN-brokered truce, according to a military source and local inhabitants.

The Yemeni army's media center emphasized that Houthi rebels conducted an attack against government forces in the southern neighborhoods of Al-Hudaydah.

It affirmed that government forces hit back with heavy and medium weapons.

No information has been issued related to the number of casualties.
