(MENAFN- Gulf Times) S'hail Shipping this month added MV S'hail Al Dukhan, 74143 DWT built at Namura, Japan and MV S'hail Al Rayan, 76629 DWT built at Imabari, Japan, to its fleet.
S'hail Shipping chairman and managing director Mohamed Khalifa al-Sada said, 'The know-how within the organisation is so rich in experience that it is successfully managing the risk of time tested formula of buying assets when the market is low and then reaping the benefits when it moves-up.
He said, 'Since the inception of our company in December 2016, this strategy has not only worked to the benefit of our 342 shareholders but also it contributes to growth of Qatar's role in world trade.

With these additions, al-Sada said, 'The company currently owns and operates a fleet of seven dry bulk carriers thereby increasing the fleet capacity to nearly half a million DWT. He said, 'Our vessels are engaged in carrying various cargoes like grain, iron ore, coal, bauxite, cement clinkers and other minerals. They trade globally including ports in USA, Australia, China, Indonesia, India, Africa and EU region. The addition of these two tonnages will definitely help in growing the revenue of the company.
Going forward, al-Sada said, 'The company is engaged in exploring options to charter-in Panamax and/or Kamsarmax tonnage. And as part of our risk management and growth strategy, the company is also examining viable opportunities in the offshore sector.
