Oman- Upgraded Badr al Samaa hospital in Nizwa to open

Badr al Samaa has announced the opening of its upgraded advanced multi-specialty hospital in Nizwa. 

The hospital will be inaugurated on Wednesday at 6pm by the chief guest, H E Dr Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Hilal al Saadi, Governor of Dakhliyah. Dr Mazin Jawad al Khabouri, director general of Private Health Establishments will be the guest of honour of the event. Omani singer Haitham Mohammed Rafi will be performing live at the event from 5pm onwards.

To mark this occasion Badr al Samaa Hospital, Nizwa is offering free consultations from June 26 to 28 in all specialties while as in cardiology, urology and dermatology the offer will be open till July 2. There will be quiz competition and raffle draw in the event in which more than 15 winners will be selected and awarded with special one year privilege cards, and exclusive gifts.

The inaugural ceremony will also be attended by Dr P A Mohammed, Dr V T Vinod and Abdul Latheef, managing directors, Badr al Samaa Group of Hospitals & Polyclinics along with executive directors, management, dignitaries from embassies, corporate officials, officials from insurance companies and social organisations.

The hospital has been set up by Badr al Samaa to cater to the people of areas like Nizwa (Firq), Izki, Birkat al Mouz, Jebel Akhdar, Bahla, Adam, Qarn al Alam, Fahud, etc. who had to travel distances to avail quality healthcare services.

The centre will be a strategic referral centre in private healthcare sector and would cater to masses with its quality services. The hospital has tie-up with all major insurance companies for cashless treatment.

The hospital has a back-up of many 4WD ambulances which will be utilised to transport patients from remote and peripheral areas. Badr al Samaa has signed exclusive contracts with many oil and gas companies and established clinics in areas like Duqm, Khazzan, etc. The hospital will also be a referral centre for these off-shore clinics.

'The people of Nizwa and peripheral areas will now have access to superior healthcare services at their doorstep. This was an important milestone for Badr al Samaa in the journey of providing accessible, available and affordable quality healthcare services. The centre will act as referral centres for general practitioners, clinics and other polyclinic for the region,' stated the hospital.
