552 kg of narcotics confiscated in Algeria


(MENAFN) Algerian army forces confiscated a huge amount equals 552 kg of narcotics in the northern and southern areas of the North African nation, according to a press release from the Algerian Defense Ministry on Monday.

A military force in the province of Ghardaia managed to detain four drug traffickers and confiscated 448 kg of drugs in their ownership.

Another force in Tlemcen managed to detain seven traffickers, and confiscated 104 kg of drugs.

The army confiscated another 534 kg of narcotics in the city of Bechar on Thursday.
