(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) DUBAI, 12th May, 2019 (WAM) -- The Dar Al Ber Society has launched its annual Ramadan campaign in the UAE and 30 other countries across Asia, Africa and Europe.
Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Society, said that the Dar Al Ber's international campaign this year will include projects related to Ramadan Iftar, Zakat Al Fitr and Eid clothes and Ramadan Mir, in cooperation with 40 charitable organisations, 13 UAE embassies, and the society's strategic partners in Sudan, Senegal, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Somalia, Chad, Niger, India, Thailand, Tanzania, Uganda, Indonesia, Togo, Ivory Coast, Russia, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Mali, Kenya, Palestine, Mauritania, Benin, Mauritius, Guinea, Gambia, Ghana, Tajikistan and Nepal.
He added that the campaign in the UAE will include distributing 246,300 Ramadan Iftar meals in 23 locations in Dubai, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
This Ramadan campaign's beneficiaries include orphans, widows, underprivileged families, schools and universities, and mosques, Al Falasi concluded.
