(MENAFN) The police declared that 16 further suspects have been nabbed in special operations carried out in the early hours of Thursday, including one suspect believed to be connected to a terrorist group.
The police added that 76 suspects have been detained so far and many of whom have been shifted to the Criminal Investigations Department.
Sri Lanka's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) confirmed that the deployment of drones and unmanned aircraft within the Sri Lankan airspace had been prohibited from Thursday until further notice.
The ruling took place considering the prevailing condition in the country, according to the CAA.
