Nigeria: car rams into crowd killing 11


(MENAFN) Eleven people have died in Nigeria's northern state of Gombe when a car rammed into an Easter procession on Sunday.

Shuaibu Muazu, chief medical director of Gombe Specialist Hospital, revealed that the 11 victims have been admitted pronounced dead.

The wounded received medical care at the facility and two other hospitals within the state.

Witnesses claimed that the deaths were members of a Boys Brigade in a local church bearing an annual Easter Sunday procession in the city.
