National dancer awarded in Moscow [PHOTO]

Azerbaijani dancer Farid Kazakov has brilliantly performed in Moscow.

He won the Grand Prix of the Kremlin Stars International Competition-Festival, Trend Life reported.

Farid Kazakov surprised the audience with spectacular performance "Avec le temps" (With time) to the music of the famous French composer Leo Ferre.

"I am very proud and glad that the judges highly appreciated my performance by awarding me the title of Grand Prix winner! I have been preparing for this contest for a long time, both physically and mentally. I knew that there would be a lot of competitors and I must do everythingperfectly. I'm happy that I did it," the dancer said.

The Kremlin Stars International Competition-Festival is a great opportunity to show your achievements in the field of musical, theatrical, choreographic, circus and other types of art.

The festival aims at the expansion and strengthening of friendly relations between the participating countries, the preservation and development of national cultures, etc.

Farid Kazakov isthe double winner of the Moscow International competition and festival of dance, the 3rd Tbilisiinternational choreographic festivalfor Children and Youth' named afterVakhtang Chabukiani. He is a multiple champion of Baku and Azerbaijan Championships.
