China to welcome New Zealand's PM Sunday


(MENAFN) China is scheduled to receive New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern by the end of the month.

Spokesperson Geng Shuang confirmed the planned trip to have come under the invitation of China's Prime Minister Li Keqiang.

New Zealand's prime minister is embarking on the trip on March 31st and will stay in China until April 1st.

It comes after a New Zealand city was hit with a twin mosque shooting that caused at least 50 deaths, fueling uproar and outrage across the world.
