Kuwaiti swindled by a Lebanese man and his wife


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, March 17: A Lebanese judge has convicted a Lebanese man and his wife and for swindling a Kuwaiti businessman, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added the suspects had sold the victim a factory manufacturing kitchen appliances.

According to the case papers, the man claimed to be pious and took the victim to Lebanon to visit the factory which later turned out to be fraud. After the businessman was convinced he agreed to pay KD 12,000, equivalent to $40,000. The deal was sealed in Kuwait and after paying the money, the Kuwaiti discovered he had been cheated.
