Russian, French presidents to preserve Syrian coordination


(MENAFN) Russian and French leaders reached an understanding on the need to preserve coordination for a peace resolution on the Syrian crisis.

During a phone call, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron addressed events within northeastern Syria along with the Idlib de-escalation zone.

While addressing the matters, the Russian president unveiled that terrorists are currently arranging chemical weapon provocations as data confirmed.

A Kremlin statement stressed that "the parties noted the need to promote the intra-Syrian political dialogue and to launch the work of the Constitutional Committee as soon as possible."
