Syrians feel human in Turkey: refugees

(MENAFN) Syrian refugees expressed positive sentimental living in Turkey, saying that they "feel human" as they look to their fate as a hopeful one.

Turkey is hosting countless Syrians who escaped their war-torn country in a refugee camp in southeastern Sanliurfa province.

"Syrian women are very happy to be in Turkey, where there is life. Despite being in a camp environment, we have very good conditions and a very good life here," Shuhaida Osman, one of the refugees, said.

"Many Syrians have gone to Lebanon and Jordan where they don't have these conveniences and suffer greatly," Shuhaida noted.

"Syrians feel human in Turkey. At a time other countries have shut their doors to us, Turkey provides education to our kids, vocational courses to women and supports all Syrians," she added.
