Nissan's Ghosn accused of trust breack


(MENAFN) Nissan's former chairman Carlos Ghosn has been charged with trust violation in the latest blow for the star executive.

Ghosn was detained on November 19, charged with forging financial reports in under reporting his income by about 5 billion yen over five years through 2015.

Ghosn, Greg Kelly, another Nissan executive; and Nissan as a legal entity, were charged on Friday with additional underreporting of income, from 2015 through fiscal 2017.

According to Ghosn's lawyer, he would request Ghosn be granted release on bail.
