(MENAFN) Sudan is backing each plan aimed at achieving peace and political stability within Yemen, affirmed Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.
The statement was made by the Sudanese president on Tuesday while delivering a speech in a military graduation ceremony.
The leader assured that "Sudan's stance towards the issues of the Arab and Islamic nation is firm and it is ready to provide whatever is possible to contribute to achieving international security and peace and preserving the Arab national security."
Al-Bashir added that his country stands by plans to help contain the Yemeni crisis, opening opportunities for peace to be brought back in the war-torn country.
