(MENAFN) A UN spokesperson hailed the ceasefire agreement secured between the Yemeni government and Houthi militants in Hodeidah city.
The statement was made by Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General Guterres, during a briefing on Monday.
The UN chief's spokesperson affirmed that "we look forward to very strong support from the Security Council."
Dujarric added: "(the resolution) will send a strong signal from the international community in support of the UN's work."
