We all had that moment where we find a crisp note (of any denomination) lying on the road, and a greedy little smile appears on our faces.
However, for the people in New Jersey, US, it wasn't just one note but a cluster of notes that spilled on a road, causing people to run out of their cars and grab the money.
Here's what happened.
Notes of even $100 value spilled from bullet-resistant truck
Incident
Yesterday morning, a bullet-resistant truck, from security and protection company Brinks, accidentally spilled bank notes on Route 3 West in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Seeing the raining money, many people stopped their cars in the middle of the rush-hour traffic and ran out to grab it.
People were heard saying, "$5, 20, everything."
Denominations as high as $100 were seen scattered on the road.

Aftermath
However, the incident caused much trouble as it led to two vehicular-crashes and a massive build-up in traffic.
According to media reports, it's not clear how much money Brinks lost in the chaos.
Meanwhile, East Rutherford police have been asking people to return the money, given that it didn't belong to them, although some cash has been handed over by people, said officials.
Many netizens wished they were there, others condemned the act

Social media, of course, erupted and gave a mixed response, after watching the video. Many wished they were there or were informed about it and thought of it as an early Christmas present. Others condemned the act saying it could have caused more damage.
