(MENAFN) Iran's football club Persepolis picked Doha, the capital of Qatar, as its site for the team's training camp.
The camp, set to be carried out at the Aspire Zone, is considered as part of the Iranian club's training for the 2019 AFC Champions League group stage and the Iranian league.
The Iranian squad is looking to overcome the 2-0 defeat it suffered on aggregate to Kashima Antlers in the final of 2017.
Persepolis is to launch a campaign in the West Zone's Group D, where it is joined by Qatar's Al Saad SC, Saudi Arabia's Al Ahli Saudi FC and the Play-off 1 (UAE/UZB/IRQ).
