(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Mohammed Al-Khader visited on Saturday the drill site of 'Pearl of the West 2018' held by the Kuwaiti army and the National Guard in cooperation with the French forces.
آ آ آ The Army's General Staff said in a press statement that Al-Khader was briefed about the logistical aspects of the site and stages of the exercise as well as its objectives.
In turn, Al-Khader praised efforts exerted by the participating forces, stressing at the same time the importance and usefulness of such joint exercises to better serve interests of the participating forces and their respected countries.
This exercise is among regular exercises carried out between the Kuwaiti army and the French forces to improve the level of performance and readiness of combat forces participating in the exercise.
آ آ آ The exercise, which began on November 11 and lasts until the 30th of the same month, will be followed by live ammunition shooting at the shooting range complex in the northwestern region of Adaira from 17 to 29 November. (End) am.tg
