Incomes of Azerbaijani population to increase

Azerbaijan's population incomes have registered an increase this year.

The nominal incomes of the population of Azerbaijan over the first nine months of 2018 increased by 9.5 percent compared to the same period last year and reached 39.69 billion manats ($ 23.34 billion), the State Committee on Statistics reported on October 22.

Per capita income averaged 4,046manats ($ 2,380), thus showing an increase of8.5 percent.

As many as 83.4 percent of revenues for this period were spent on consumer spendings, 8.1 percent on taxes, insurance and membership fees, 7.4 percent - on fees.

After implementation of all mandatory and voluntary payments, 36.46 billionmanats ($ 21.45 billion) remained at the disposal of the population.

In the previous report nominal income of the population of Azerbaijan was 34.8 billion manats ($ 20.47 billion). Per capita income for the period amounted to 3,548manats ($ 2,087). And the income remaining at the disposal of the population amounted to 31.93 billion manats ($ 18.78 billion).
