(MENAFN) Gaza was hit by strikes launched by Israeli warplanes early Wednesday after as the Israeli military aims to eliminate terror targets.
According to a military spokesperson statement, "at this time IDF (Israel Defense Forces) fighter jets started attacking terror targets in the Gaza Strip."
Local media also reported no less than three individuals to have suffered from wounds due to the airstrikes Gaza was hit with.
The incident comes after Gaza rebels launched a rocket on a residential house in southern Israel in Beer Sheva city, a police spokesperson said.
