Cairo, Safar 05, 1440, October 14, 2018, SPA -- The Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ahmed Hafez said that his country is following with concern the repercussions of the disappearance of Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi, and stresses the importance of revealing the truth of what happened in the context of a transparent investigation, stressing the danger of not waiting the results of the investigations and the arbitrary charges.
The spokesman added, "Egypt also warns against trying to exploit this issue politically against Saudi Arabia on arbitrary charges, and affirms its support for the Kingdom in its efforts and positions to deal with this event."
