(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 15 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah extended his deepest condolences on Wednesday over the death of dozens of school children after their boat sank while crossing the Nile River in northern Sudan. His Highness the Kuwaiti leader expressed his sympathies in a cable he sent to Sudan's President Omar Al-Bashir, saying he was distraught over the lives lost in the tragic accident.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar messages to the Sudanese president. (end) ha.nam
