Algeria mulls over joint bid to organize World Cup 2030 with Morocco, Tunisia


(MENAFN) Algeria is reportedly mulling over a plan to submit a joint bid with Morocco and Tunisia for the organization of the World Cup 2030, Algerian Youth and Sport Minister Mohamd Hattab announced.

The Algerian minister said that "Algeria is open to submit a joint bid with Tunisia and Morocco to host the World Cup 2030," El Khabar newspaper website reported.

The plan for the organization of the World Cup jointly between the countries has been promoted in Morocco and Tunisia.

Moroccan King Mohamed VI has proposed the idea for submitting a joint bid to host the World Cup 2030 in a message to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, as reported several news websites.
