InterContinental Doha gets new Resident Manager

DOHA: The iconic InterContinental Doha recently welcomed Elie Saliba (pictured) as its new Resident Manager, where he will be overseeing the overall operations of the hotel, including food & beverage, Spa InterContinental, and residences.

Elie started his career with InterContinental Hotels Group in 2002 and brings with him more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including directing a team of 500 employees in food preparation and service delivery, planning and coordinating training, maintaining operational excellence, and working with franchising management.

Prior to joining InterContinental Doha, Elie was the Food and Beverage Director at InterContinental Jordan - Amman, where he successfully led the expansive F & B operation for two and a half years, and launched a countrywide loyalty program for IHG hotels in Jordan, which resulted a high level of guest satisfaction and customer loyalty.

A graduate of the American University of Beirut with a bachelor degree in Business Administration and Hotel Management, Elie is a passionate hotelier and always aims to achieve great successes with the team while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
