Morocco's FM to visit Palestine, Jordan


(MENAFN) Ramallah will receive Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita on Tuesday, where he is scheduled to meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and he will continue to Amman, where he will meet Jordan's King Abdullah II on Wednesday.

Visiting the Aqsa Mosque as well, Bourita said that his visit to Palestine comes at the instruction of King Mohammed VI of Morocco, who is also chairman of al-Quds Committee, as reported by Asharq Al-Awsat.

"Morocco, its King, government and people, consider the Palestinian cause a national issue," the FM said.

On Wednesday, the FM will arrive in Amman where he will meet Jordan's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman al-Safadi, then he will meet King Abdullah II and conclude his visit with an official dinner banquet, which will be hosted by Safadi, to honor his Moroccan counterpart and his delegation.
