20 Feb 2018

Salman Khan continues to not let go of the grudge he holds against Arijit Singh. Over the years, Bhai has made sure that none of his films have a song in Arijit's voice and is continuing to do so.

This time, the actor has asked the makers of 'Welcome To New York', in which he has a cameo, to not have an Arijit song.

As per media reports, the 'Tum Hi Ho' singer had recorded the rough version of a song that was to be included in the film, until Salman came into the picture.

Not at all pleased with the decision, the 'Dabangg' actor went up to the producers and had his way with them.

The sour relations between the two men first came to light in 2016 when Arijit posted a public apology to Salman, requesting him to not remove his song from 'Sultan'.

Arijit had crooned 'Jag Ghoomeya' in the wrestling drama which eventually went to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

It was later revealed that Arijit's songs were also removed from 'Kick' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.'

It was in an award function in 2014 that Salman was offended by Arijit. The singer, who had come on stage to receive an award, made a peculiar comment on Salman's hosting, saying, "Aap logon ne toh sula diya."

To this, Salman replied, "You should blame your slow songs for this."
