Saudi Arabian Airlines become entirely self-financing

(MENAFN) National carrier Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) was revealed to have fully become subsidy-free.

The airline was confirmed by its director general Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser to have given up government subsidies, as it aims to become independent.

He declared "we have successfully cut expenses and seek to boost revenue by offering high-quality service and by expanding fleet."

The national carrier's senior executive has made the revelation during a press conference that took place a week ago.
