Jordan impose JOD200 on Hajj


(MENAFN) The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Jordan stated that people, who want to perform Hajj, are obligated to pay JOD200.

The ministry explained that that this move is for worshipers to gain their place in Mecca and permit the ministry to count the precise number of people who are serious about performing the religious duty in 2018.

Hajj 2018 will begin in the evening of Sunday, August 19 and end in the evening of Friday, August and online registration in Jordan will start from 10am Sunday morning and until the evening of January 28, according to the ministry.
