KUWAIT, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- Outstanding female students flew to Morocco early Saturday on a week-long trip organized by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED).
Almost simultaneously, Kuwaiti male students have arrived in Albania on an identical mission aimed at shedding light on Kuwait's aid for nations to help boost development.
By so doing, KFAED wants to make Kuwaiti brilliant students familiar with three KFAED-bankrolled developments projects in Morocco, and to mirror Kuwait's contributions to external development projects, KFAED's Information Section's Deputy Chairperson Amira Al-Kandari said to KUNA, upon departure of the females to Morocco.
This is not the first trip to Morocco as outstanding students were previously dispatched to Morocco a couple of years ago, said Al-Kandari, the trip's supervisor.
Later, outstanding high-school male students from Kuwait arrived in Albania on a KFAED-funded journey for the same purpose, said KFAED's Press Chief Ahmad Al-Sarraf in remarks to KUNA.
The mission, due to proceed until January 20, is the ninth organized by KFAED, in coordination with the Ministry of education.
Albania was chosen as a travel destination for the students because it had been coordinating with KFAED since 25 years ago, he said, indicated at the funding or contribution to many projects in the European country. (pickup previous) tm.mt.rk
