Afghanistan: Taliban suicide bombers strike once again


(MENAFN) No less than 43 Afghan soldiers have fallen to their death following the tragedy of a blast caused by a couple of suicide bombers in Humvee trucks aiming at a military base located in Kandahar Province.

The Defence Ministry confirmed that due to the impact, nine wounded were found, six more are reported to be missing. It is also said that ten militants are dead. Throughout this week alone, the assault which occurred in Maiwand district of Chashmo area is the third major attack.

Two days prior to the recent incidents, a police training center was raided by the group's gunmen and suicide bombers Gardez, eastern Afghan city. More than 41 people were murdered as a result. In Paktia province, the local hospital admitted around 150 injured victim, thus was under pressure that it requested an appeal for blood donors immediately.

This year, Afghani military and police have gone through grave fatalities as a result of the Taliban unjust ideals of how Islam should be represented in the country.
