Saudi issues USD1.87bn in new Islamic bond issue


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia has raided USD1.87bn in a new Islamic bond issue as it bids to finance a budget deficit resulting from low oil prices.

In addition, the first two issues were made in April and July and were worth USD13.5bn.

Furthermore, the kingdom has predicted a budget deficit of USD53bn in the recent year, down from 2016 shortfall.
