ICRC resumes searching for Kuwaiti human remains in southern Iraq


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, March 15 -- The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) resumed efforts to look for the human remains of Kuwaitis' in Dhi Qar Governorate, southern Iraq.
A security source in the Iraqi police told KUNA Wednesday that a team from ICRC arrived late on Tuesday to Al-Nasiriyah, the largest city of Dhi Qar, to resume the operation. The team included experts from Colombia, Australia, Lebanon, and Iraq.
The Iraq Ministry of Defense offered a prize to any person who provides any information regarding the human remains of Kuwaitis in Iraq and also stolen goods from Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion. (end) ahh.lb
