Tata to settle fiscal dispute with NTT Docomo


(MENAFN) Tata group aims to resolve issues, namely its row with Japan's NTT Docomo, while the USD108bn salt-to-software conglomerate aimed to settle since 2004.

Furthermore, this dispiute is over Tata's non-compliance of a financial agreement when Docomo decided to exit the Indian market in 2014.

In addition, the Tata Sons was to have bought back Docomo's 26.5 percent share in Tata Teleservices by paying at least half of the acquisition price amid 5 years.

Moreover, Docomo had asked Tata to buy back shares at USD1.2bn but Tata Sons offered a lower exit price.
