Kuwait- Over 120 participate in duathlon competition


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A photo from the event The Department of Sports for All at Sahara Club organized Kuwait duathlon competition under the patronage of the Public Authority for Sports. There were more than 120 participants; however, this number was lesser than expected.

Despite the rainy and cold weather conditions, an exciting competition was witnessed among participants.

Najla Al-Jeraiwi shined along with Asma Al-Rakhis in the women's category. Mohammed Hamada won the men's category. The trio of Mazen Shateh, Anas Humaidan and Basma Al-Obeidi exerted efforts for ensuring the success of the competition.

Director of the Department of Sports for All Hamed Al Huzaim expressed his happiness over the success of the competition and the participation despite the rainy and cold weather conditions.

He affirmed the commitment of Director General of Public Authority for Sports Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mansour and his deputy Dr Hamoud Fleitah for launching such all-sport activities, discovering talents and encouraging the youths to join this sport. (KUNA)
