Hyundai E&C's new facility building in Indonesia going smoothly


(MENAFN) Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. (E&C), the major construction company in South Korean has secured a large contract from Indonesia's CEPR, a local energy facility operator, and everything is going according to plans.

Specifically, the agreement is worth a whopping USD727 million and consists of constructing a 1,000-MW coal-fired power plant along the coastal line of Java, an island 200 kilometers east of Jakarta.

Additionally, Hyundai E&C is the foremost firm to handle all construction stages throughout the whole process, therefore it will also lay down power lines and expand a transforming facility in the area.
