Moroccan King, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince meet on regional int'l issues

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI April 30 (KUNA) -- sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan crown prince of Abu Dhabi discussed with King Mohammad VI of Morocco on Saturday ways to enhance the bilateral ties and cooperation as well as the latest regional and international developments.
Sheikh Mohammad also Deputy Commander of UAE armed forces welcomed the King and his accompanying delegation and expressed pleasure over his visit to the UAE according to a WAM report.
He expressed desire for further cementing the bilateral ties under the wise leadership of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Mohammad VI.
The two sides reviewed fraternal relations in political economic and developmental fields and ways to strengthen them in a way that will serve their common interests and the aspirations of their peoples.
Sheikh Mohammad praised the relationship which kept growing since the diplomatic ties were established by the late UAE president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and late King of Morocco Al Hassan II.
At the end of the meeting the two sides reiterated commitment to the deep-rooted ties and welcomed the outcome of the first GCC-Morocco summit meeting which was held in Riyadh last week.
The meeting gathered Prince Moulay Rachid - of Morocco Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammad Al Nahyan - Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region and Sheikh Hazza' bin Zayed Al Nahyan the UAE National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council. (end) asa.gb
