(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Abu Dhabi April 11 (Petra)--UAE State Minister for Financial Affairs Obaid Humaid Al Tayer said that trade economic and investment ties between Jordan and the UAE are a model for joint Arab economic action.
The minister's remarks came in a statement issued by the UAE Finance Ministry on Monday to announce the signing of an agreement between the two countries to avoid double taxation. The agreement was signed by Finance Minister Omar Malhas and his Emirati counterpart on the sidelines of Jordan's participation in the Joint Annual Meeting of Arab Financial Institutions that was held in Manama Bahrain during April 5-6.
The UAE minister said such agreements will contribute to enhancing the investment climate and further develop trade ties between the two countries.
