(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Tunis March 10 (QNA) - Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid met Thursday with a delegation from the U.K. House of Commons' Foreign Affairs Committee led by committee chair Crispin Blunt.
Speaking after the meeting Blunt pointed to the success of Tunisian security and military forces in tackling the terrorist groups particularly during the Ben Gardane operation in southeastern Tunisia where 46 militants were killed and another seven were detained.
Blunt said Tunisia is a model for democratic transition stressing his country's support for the Tunisian government's efforts in economic reform so as to push growth forward attract foreign investors and encourage tourists to visit the country. (QNA)
