Kuwait, Jordan sign USD 20mn agreement


(MENAFN) The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signed a USD 20mn grant deal with Jordan, a measure aimed at justifying the burden of coping with the influx of Syrian refugees.

Accordingly, the agreement plans to implement developmental projects in the healthcare and educational sectors, in addition to public services, which are predicted to finish by 2018.

In addition, the grant agreement seeks to improve the efficiency of public services in areas lived by Syrian refugees, confirming that they get unimpeded access to these services.

Moreover, KFAED has delivered a whole of 26 loans to Jordan, totaling USD 580mn for plethora of developmental projects in different sectors.
