Kuwait- University students break world record in weight of donated clothes


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Members of the Gulf University of Science and Technology's (GUST) Public Relations Club succeeded in collecting 65 tons of clothes in 24 hours, breaking the Guinness world record on Saturday.

The campaign to collect clothes aimed at breaking the world record that stood at 29 tons, registered by the Guinness World Records.

GUST's Public Relations Club began at 5:00 p.m. yesterday.

The clothes will be donated to people in need in Kuwait, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Yemen.
