(MENAFN) The Turkish Deputy Prime Minister said that the political crisis engulfing the Prime Minister has cost the country's economy USD100 billion, Xinhua reported.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that a corruption probe into the Prime Minister's administration has shaken its core and caused financial damages. "We are talking about damage of over $100bn," he said.
The deputy said that the corruption probe is a "plot aimed at tarnishing Turkey's prestige at home and abroad".
