Crisis in Turkey cost country USD100b


(MENAFN) The Turkish Deputy Prime Minister said that the political crisis engulfing the Prime Minister has cost the country's economy USD100 billion, Xinhua reported. The Deputy Prime Minister said that a corruption probe into the Prime Minister's administration has shaken its core and caused financial damages. "We are talking about damage of over $100bn," he said. The deputy said that the corruption probe is a "plot aimed at tarnishing Turkey's prestige at home and abroad".
