Iraq awards oil services contract to Valerus


(MENAFN) Texas-based oil and gas services firm Valerus has won a contract to provide more than 45,000 bhp of compression and onsite supervisory services for processing facilities being developed in Iraq, PR Newswire reported. Valerus, a worldwide leader in integrated oil and gas handling and processing, has installed large compression facilities throughout the Middle East, including Kuwait and Bahrain. Last month, the company won a contract from Petrofac to provide compression services for two mature onshore fields in Mexico. Valerus provides reciprocating compressor packages, production equipment, gas processing solutions, liquid separation systems and a variety of professional field services.
