(MENAFN- Arab Times) Jahra securitymen arrested 15 Asians for burning tires in plots in Amghara.
After the recent tire-burning incidents, a team of security officials was formed to investigate the incidents and arrest the culprits.
Reportedly, Jahra police on patrol discovered fire blazing at a plot in Amghara and immediately notified firefighters who rushed to the location and extinguished it.
While they were extinguishing the fire, they received reports of another fire in a nearby land. Securitymen rushed to the location and caught the suspects in the act of setting the fire. They were immediately arrested and referred to the concerned authorities.
During initial questioning, the suspects admitted that they burnt the tires to retrieve the copper wires after the tires are completely burned.
