Qatari PM, Iranian FM Discuss Gaza, Syria

DOHA, Jan 30 (KUNA) -- Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi on Thursday to discuss the developments in Gaza, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria.
According to the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting took place in Doha and covered bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen it, as well as other topics of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the Qatari Prime Minister emphasized Qatar's continued efforts to de-escalate tensions and resolve conflicts, including regional efforts in cooperation with partners to support stability and peace in the region. (end)
