Mol Supervises Career Fair At W Hotel To Enhance Employment For National Cadres

Doha, Qatar: Under the supervision of the Ministry of Labour (MoL), represented by the Department of Qualifying and Skills Development and the Department of National Manpower Employment, the W Hotel hosted the“Open Casting Day” career fair on Sunday.
The event aimed at introducing private sector job seekers among Qataris and children of Qatari women, registered on the“Kawader” platform, to the training opportunities provided by the ministry and the administrative job vacancies available at the hotel.
The ministry's supervision of this event aligns with its efforts to implement the National Strategy for an Effective and Highly Productive Workforce 2024–2030. The strategy focuses on nurturing a supportive work environment that develops and trains national talent, increases employment rates across economic sectors, and advances the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
These goals include empowering Qataris and children of Qatari women to secure employment, enhance their competitiveness in the labour market, and build a skilled workforce capable of driving progress towards a more productive economy.
During the event, the Department of Qualifying and Skills Development supervised the specialised vacancies and training opportunities available for job seekers at the hotel. Additionally, the Department of National Manpower Employment oversaw the job opportunities offered by the W Hotel, ensuring transparent recruitment processes. Attendees engaged directly with the hotel's HR representatives to explore roles that matched their skills and qualifications.
MoL reaffirmed its dedication to empowering the national workforce by providing training and employment opportunities that enhance their participation in the private sector.
