Russia Withdraws Warships From Black, Azov Seas


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) At 06:00 on December 11, 2024, no Russian warships were deployed in the Black Sea or the Sea of Azov.

That is according to the operational update from the Ukrainian Navy on facebook , as reported by Ukrinform.

"No enemy warships are deployed in the Black Sea; no enemy warships are deployed in the Sea of Azov," the update states.

In the Mediterranean Sea, there are currently six Russian warships, including four carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo capacity of up to 41 missiles.

Over the past day, in support of Russian interests, the following movements were recorded through the Kerch Strait: to the Sea of Azov – seven vessels, three of which arrived from the Bosporus Strait, to the Black Sea – no movements of enemy warships were spotted.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, satellite data suggest that part of the Russian fleet has left the naval base in Tartus, Syria, following the collapse of the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.
